Dr. Leslie’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science degree and a Doctor’s degree in Dentistry from the University of Louisville. Post Doctorate education includes a one year Hospital Residency at Ft. Bragg N.C..
Dr. Leslie first started doing Implant Dentistry in 1984 and since then has accumulated over 300 hours of continuing education in the field. Dr. Leslie is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Leslie is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Manatee Dental Society.
Dr. Leslie was raised on Hartsdale, N.Y.. His education was interrupted by three years of military service in 1968. He spent a year in Viet Nam as a Second Lieutenant platoon leader in the 25th Infantry and received an Army Commendation Medal for Valor and a Bronze Star. The Army offered him a scholarship to attend Dental school and Dr. Leslie was stationed in Panama for three years after his hospital residency.
After hours Dr. Leslie enjoys the company of his wife and daughter. He is an avid diver and fisherman. When time allows he also likes to play racquetball and tennis.
